Rory: (shakily) Boys that girl just put stuck it in me, I didn’t like it at all (looking back at the girl)
Lad 1: Ohhh yess lad go chat her up then (banging Rory’s chest playfully)
Rory: (abruptly) Don’t! That’s make me really uncomfortable she just grabbed me out of no where tried to touch my todge and everything!
(Pushing lad off his shoulders and scratching his head nervously)
Lad1: (excitedly) Ohhhh na mate your well in there! She defo wants you! Tonight my boy it's your lucky night! I’ll get you a drink! Remember you got work in the morning so don’t be out all night ahahah (winking at Rory, smirking, he goes toward the bar to get him a drink)
Rory: No your not listening, I wanna leave this is way to much! I don’t want to go home with the girl I just wanna have a good night with us lads...
please can he stop telling me to go for something I’m not into! (To lad 2&3)
Lad 2: She so fit look at her tho! (In a daze, dream like expression)
(Lad 2 snaps out of it, lad 1 returns with three drinks for all the boys)
Lad 3: come on man your just being a pussy, one girl comes sticks it on you and is all over you like a rash and your saying no? It’s a bit weird if you ask me... if you don’t want her, I’ll have her!
Rory: you lot are not getting this at all!
No for god sake She’s coming over again!
Right I’ve got to get out of here, I’m leaving, I’m gonna ask the bar to get me a taxi home don’t worry you boys stay here if you want but I’m going! (He quickly makes his way to the bar, he wants to get out of this situation ASAP but with out drawing attention)
Lads 1/2/3: Come on...RORY! Rory....
Lad 1: ahhh his gone! Hahaha what a weirdo ahahah come boys lets get on that dance floor!
Rory: (making his way to the bar, sees the poster, ask Angela) hello mate! Can I have Angela please...if you know what I mean?
Bartender: you taking the piss mate! It’s not funny! Why would you say that? Na you not even funny... (flags down the security)
Rory: no no no I’m in a real situation! What do you mean, she touched me she touched me and I want to go home with no hassle please help me!
Security: come on you’ve had to much to drink haven’t you! (Lifts Rory by his arms excite him out the club)
Rory: wait wait please I haven’t done anything wrong I just wanted to get away from a girl with out all this!
(Security leave him at the entrance of the club)
Security: don’t be getting any funny ideas mate, go home!
(Rory feeling alone, upset and angry walks home alone in the rain…)
How I would like this presented
Everyone film themselves as their roles separately, but I would also like an additional voice audio record of you saying your lines, this is so I can play around with voice and video in i movie! (Ladies don't be afraid to act like proper lad characters dress up if you want too? No headbands need to be worn ) (Also could these be filmed in evening to get that night time feel to the video’s) need to be filmed by Thursday 30th.
Scene 6 Video Edit
Here is the video edit I completed once all characters send me there videos on a number of different platforms, which was difficult trying to save then all and edit them in certain places, this is due to some members sending in one whole video of all the lines on and others sending videos with individual lines. Never the less I managed to collect all the videos going over them and editing/cutting all of them at points. I use a editing tool on my I phone called video editor, which I found an easy enough tool to use once all my videos where added. I found lighting a hard one to change as some had natural or artificial light in the background, i tried to change the filters on video but It made it to washy and not clear in some of the individual sections. Overall, I do feel that the content within the video is as close to as if it was a scene and physically performed, I would of liked to work with more with lighting if i could, to develop further I have placed this scene in upstage on the second floor of chemistry with the ASM'S creating a club atmosphere in the background. This would of enhanced the immersive experience and developed my creative ideas with more depth as a practitioner.
